For more than a year, the COVID pandemic has added a new dimension of stress in our lives: an underlying worry about our health and the wellbeing of those we love; a shift in how we live, work, travel and connect with one another. There is no doubt these exceptional times will change us. But how you change is up to you.
Relax & Recharge is a 6-week course that helps you build a toolbox to calm the body and mind. Alongside Yin and Restorative yoga, we will explore the different ways that breathwork, meditation, Yoga Nidra and Reiki help you combat stress and stay centered in the face of challenges. Classes are held on Mondays, and include a yoga practice that supports the relaxation technique we’ll be learning about that week. On the days in between, it’s optional to keep a journal as a record of your process and a helpful tool for reflection.
Jess Holl is a compassionate and thoughtful teacher and writer, with more than a decade of experience practicing and teaching yoga in the US and Europe. She is a Reiki master, certified in Hatha, Yin and Pre/Postnatal yoga, and Vipassana and Ripa Awareness meditation techniques in the Buddhist tradition.
